Middletown Garden Club's Annual Gala to be held at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills!

The Barns at Wesleyan Hills salutes its authentic past by hosting the Middletown Garden Club's Annual Gala in April 2010! What a better place to celebrate the natural beauty and bounty of Connecticut's Barns and Farms. We could not be happier that Lyman Orchards is being honored at this event. We are also looking forward to hanging out with NPR's Faith Middleton.

Cover art for the program was done by the super cool chef and artist Patsy Hoffer. Patsy has been a great friend of ours and we are looking forward to displaying her original work in our Highland Avenue Showroom.

2010 Bridal Show and Menu Tasting!

The 2010 Bridal Show and Menu Tasting was a HUGE success! I want to extend a special "thank you" to our many Brides and Grooms who attended our show and to our vendor partners that help make this show possible. I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to our terrific culinary staff, bartenders, staff supervisors and servers for helping to make a great show for our customers!

Here is just some of the incredible feedback we have received:

"We had a fantastic time at the bridal show last weekend. Having that opportunity to meet with high quality vendors really saved a lot of time and legwork. Not only did the buffet confirm our suspicions that the catering will be great and the cake delicious, but we were also able to book our photographer, DJ, and florist all in the same day. This event turned wedding planning headaches into a fun way to spend the day, and has added another great experience to our wedding process."
